Hi!
Now a light sorc build (very strange one).
i tried lots of builds for light sorc and finally this the one i prefer. It's perfect for Pvm, perfect for Hc, very safe and deadly. This is the char i'll make on next ladder if blizzard makes reset and i'll reach her on 99 (if no rip ofc)


Stuff :

Helm: Circlet +3 light +20% FC 2 sockets. (2x facets light 5/5 in)
Amu: Mara
weapon: Hoto
Armor: Guardian angel ! (jewel 15 all res + 9 dex in)
Shield: Storm um'ed
Gloves: Magefist
Belt: Arach
Boots: Sandstorm
Ring1: Fast cat ring with str + high mana and fire / light res
Ring2: Fast cat ring with str + high mana and fire / light res
ex: 10%fc + 20 str + 7x mana + 10 all res or 2x fire/light res. is perfect for this build
Charms: 6 skillers life + 1 skiller Fhr + very good torch + anni good res + scs 20 life + mana (like 20/13-17)
Switch: cta + Sigon shield (block !)
For your merc: Infinity on eth Cv / Ca / tresher, shaft eth up um'ed, gaze eth up um'ed (to have 50% dr to make CS)

This is exactly the build i'll use. Btw u can change some items:
-If u dont want to use Guardian angel, use viper, then u can put:
-Frostburn gloves instead of magefist to have more mana
-1 soj or wisp 20% to have more mana or light absorb.
-storm shael'ed to keep the FBR step 48%
If u find nice amu fast cast (17% or more), then u can remove Fast cast rings and use 2x sojs. But good fast cast rings gives u max res and very good mana. By the way it's expensive build.


Stats:

Strengh: u got around 100 base str so u need to put only 26 more to wear storm with str bug.
dexterity: get enough to have 75% block (184 on lvl 97 or so if u use Guardian angel, 23x if u use viper).
Vita: 300-320 if u use guardian angel, 280 - 290 if u use viper.
Energy: remaining points


Skills:

Warmth: 1

Forzen armor: 1

Charged bolt: 20
Static field: 1
Telekinesis: the remain points (3 on lvl 98)
Nova: 20
Lightning: 20
Chain lightning: 20
Teleport: 1
Energy shield: 1
Lightning mastery: 20


So u got:

-35% Damage reduce
-75% block with storm
-Crazy resists (90/90/90/90 if u use Guardian angel, 75/75/75/75 if viper)
-High life: around 1.2 - 1.3 K life without Bo if u got good skillers / torch / anni.
-Nice mana : around 1 k without Bo (a bit more like 1.2 k if u use viper)
-120 % Fc to get the lightning fact cast step (117%)
-High dmgs: 35 K Lightning with -10% light res enemy, 37K if u use viper.
-high mana regeneration
-32% fhr, very usefull on sorc.

Tell me if u got any question about this build or any suggestion.

seems like very good pvm//hc build..
btw, are es-builds too dangeruos for hc? thinking if mana burns can kill you too quickly.
and can you ttpk with charged bolt? somewhere i read about it. sounds cool

No, Es builds are great for hardcore.
Insight does wonders for es
It's a great guide, nice character, but I don't recommend you use guardian ange, it's nice but you lose +1 skill, and fcr.

Es is not so good for Hc because of mana burn monsters.
if u got souls or mana burn boss u can get owned very fast if u dont have much life.
other reason i dont use mana / es build: with light synergies, u can not max telekinesis so your mana gets owned much faster than your life.
for guardian angel, it's for sure a very strange choice but i still got 120% FC. i got a bit less dmgs than with viper, but 90% all res is nice too.
But i agree viper is very good choice too.
