Im wondering various things about the science behind kicks.
Please just flood me with w/e you know about a sins kick skills (i think its just dtalon/dflight).
-do kicks carry psn damage and open wounds and other modifiers from weps/gear?
-where do kicks get their bonuses from?
-If i were to use claws... would my main claw (over gloves) be the only one to bonus/mod my kicks (through ias/OW/psn)
-does venom transfer through kicks?
-What are the kicking breakpoints?
-Are kicks base damage based on boot damage?
-Do the kicking skills have diminishing returns?
-What are the best kicking skills?
Anything you know about kicks would be kool to know.
First off Dragon Talon is the best no other way...
mods that carry over on kicks:
Life Leech
Mana Leech
Elemental Damage
Magical Damage
Chance to cast X on striking
Crushing Blow
Open Wounds
Prevent Monster Heal
Ignore Target Defense
Hit Blinds Target
Hit Causes Monster to Flee
Hit Freezes target
Hit Slows Target
mods that do not carry to kicks:
+ Physical damage.(+ Min damage, + Max damage, and plain + damage mods)
Deadly Strike
Critical strike
here is the dmg formula...
MinDamage= (str + dex - 20) / 4 * (100 + skill_bonus) / 100 + BootMinDam * (100 + (str * StrBonus / 100) + skill_bonus + non_weapon ED + Aura_bonus) / 100
MaxDamage=(str + dex - 20) / 3 * (100 + skill_bonus) / 100 + BootMaxDam * (100 + (str * StrBonus / 100) + skill_bonus + non_weapon ED + Aura+bonus) / 100
wepon ED does not effect. however non weapon ed does.
as you can see str and dex both have the same effect on kick dmg. pupming dex to max block and rest into str will give you alot of dmg. the more str the better. thats if you can make up for the loss of life with life on items and DR and whatnot...
and if using dual claw (i dont suggest it go with shield and lw) the effects of first claw (the first equipped it does Not matter which side its on..) will carry to your kicks.
