This is simple version of this, I didnt feel like writing alot of things what doesnt realy matter.
Aiming in fast & easy readable guide

Barbarian

STATS

Starting Stats:

Strengt 60
Dexterity 25*
Intelligence 5**
Vitality 60***

*Pretty low dex
** Very low amount of int.
*** More than enough for extra def & life smile.gif

You have 10 unused stat points at the start, put them in intelligence, for defense vs casters.
I suggest to get around 40-50 int, becouse its not overkilling and its better than nothing.
Dexterity is also a bit low on barbarian, but that can be covered with items, like a 40 dex charm and stat points.
So, at level 20, you have 35 int, and if you think this is enough, you can start putting stats to dex, but you can always get more.
Remember to get first int, so you gain mana for your possible heal charm !

ITEMS

Items are simple.
Quote
Equipment that a barbarian can use:
Weapons: sword, club, axe, warhammer, battleaxe, polearm
Armor: All Types
Charms: All Types

You can use any weapon you want.
I prefer clubs.

Why? - Cheap, effective.

But if you go swords, remember to get around 120 dexterity for criticals smile.gif

Now you will be probably wondering (if you're new to ladder slasher biggrin.gif ) what stats on the weapon.
Enhanced effect. Nothing else is needed here.
The first weapon should be something like:

Magical Elm Club
Damage: Xx to Xx
+30-60% Enhanced effect*

*Depends on how much you can afford.

After the first weapon, remember to update the weapon every 5 levels.
The first weapon must be tier III, Tier I and Tier II are worthless.

Remember to get as high EE (enhanced effect) as possible.
More you have on weapon, the more damage you do. If you have EE on armor, it only incrases defense, on charm, it incrases charms cast dmg.

Charm & armor are very similar to each other.
For the first levels ( 1-10 or 1-15) get either strengt or max life

Try aiming at 10 str on both charm and armor, or 250+ max life. Or combination of both works very well too.
Other stat to search is life per kill, atleast +25 smile.gif

When you go higher, look @ your stats.
If you dont have enough dex ( _ 80 _ ) get dexterity charm.
Always try to find a charm with stats, never armor, becouse this way you can change your armor from EE to life steal to stat armor or what ever.

Thats all, I will be answering every single question I can what you write here or pm me.

HAVE FUN

Very good guide. The intelligence in the beginning is a great idea - when I climbed with my barbarian I always hated fighting caster mobs because they almost always owned me.

The only thing I have to say is that it isn't necessary to switch weapons every 5 levels - especially for beginners who aren't rich. I think that it's best to upgrade when you find that you can't kill effectively anymore smile.gif

True, but it helps if you change when you can smile.gif
