This Is The Max Block, Max Dam Reduce, Es Sorc. I Am Arguably One Of The Best Blizz Sorcs Ever On D2. This Is Not A Cheap Build.

I Have Had Many Blizz Sorcs And This Is The Best Setup I've Found...At Least For Me.

FriggenHumbling Is Lvl 97, Has 2.5k Health, And 3.5k Mana. Dmg is 11.5k with my norm gear, can get up to 14k with ormus, 20/20 shield ect.

Enough Dex For Max Block With StormShield (Most People Ask How Much...But Just Add Into As You Lvl Since Block Goes Down Per Lvl. It's Not Hard)

Any Extra In Glacial

Blizz Sorcs Are Never Really Finished Till Lvl 99, The Higher Lvl You Get, More Dmg You Do.

My Sorc Does Not Have The Es Skill, Just Use A Wand To Pre Cast.
And Since My Build Is Base Energy, Low Es % Will Be Fine, I Use 75%.

A Wand With Lower Res Charges Is A Good Idea As Well

With The 20 Anni, 20 Hellfire, Bitter Brouges And Arm Fletch With 80 Base Str You Should Have Exactly 156 Str.

Now What Gear To Use And When:

For Most Situations I Use

Shield:
5/-5 Facet Storm Shield

Armor:
Bugged Tals

Gloves:
Frosties

Then The Rest Never Changes.

This Gear Is For Any Type Of Melee And Ele Druids Basically, Max Block And Max Dam Reduce tongue.gif
Overall Its My Fav Setup.

This Build Should Be Able To Tank 90% Of Barbs And Ele Druids. For Barbs Just Blizz Yourself And Cast Ice Blast. For Ele Druids Just Blizz Urself And If They Have Wolves Use Glacial Then Switch To Ice Blast.

Then For Just Casters Just Switch Up The StormShield For the 35% fcr Spirit To Hit 105 Fcr Break Point And A Little Extra Dmg.

If You Are Dueling An Absorbing Hammerdin Or Nec You Can Change Shield To 20/-20 Monarch And Armor To Blizz Ormus, Gloves To Magefists. Helps Lower Res + Gives Huge Dmg Bonus.

Versus Hammerdins Just Blizz Urself And Walk Downwards And Ice Blast, Hammers Will Never Hit If Your Smart.

Vs Stack Necros Use Glacial, Most Aren't a Prob Unless They Sorb.

For Ww Sins You May Want To But On Tower Sanc, Leaves You With Max Block And Max Psn Res. Also You May Wana Use Sanc Vs Fb Sorcs If You Have A Prob With Em And Use Hot Spurs.

I Wrote This Guide Under The Assumption That You Know How To Duel, Are Not A Newb And I Am Lazy To Go Into Detail. All A Good Dueler Needs To Know Is In Here. This Guide Is Just For The Build, Dueling Is Up To You.

When does one use ice blast/ice bolt/glacial?

I might make a lvl 49 blizzer and I'm not sure what's best to max. Enlighten me.

Have to say. This is the only blizz sorc who knows some. Got maxblock + got es.

But still. Just to comment you should make a guide without those dupe sc's that not everyone can afford .

Great guide tho. Hardly see as good sorcs guides as this .

Btw how much fhr? Course if barb leaps you are in a trouble. You cant even blizz yourself :/.

ice bolt is never used, just a synergy. glacial is mostly used vs revive necros or druid wolves for splash dmg. ice blast is the most powerful. that is used in between blizz's or even by itself is quite powerful.



1v1 you don't need any fhr against a bvc with this build. team with a leaper u'll need 46 fhr bp (44 or 45 or 46 or somewhere around there) which is covered by spirit. that will easily get you away from harm. or if u need max block against that specific team u could use a few fhr charms to hit 46%. but i never had the need to do that.

how do u get that, would be great if u told me stats on that dupe amu and ring.
im making blizzsorc right now (on scleu realm so no dupes) i was thinking about 90 or 95% es so i dont have to care about res.

yes i do have maxed res, ammy is 2 skils, 20 fcr, 23 res, 50 life/mana.
the boots have 30+ fire/cold/lit res as well
btals has 40
bmaster ring has 36 lit, 15 rest.
so its not too had on east nl.

the fhr bp is 42 bryce u noob
