I have a level 87 Bone Necro who uses his 125 fcr, infinity merc, bone spear, golem, and corpse explosion, he's set up to be mainly dueler but I found him to be a very reliable key runner as well...

Lately, though, I've been having shit luck... 10-20 runs in full games of all key-droppers (Nihlathak, Summoner, and Countess) and not a SINGLE key. That's 30 to 60 of these guys killed and I've yet to find a key.

What all factors into key droppage? Does a full game even matter? I feel like I get more keys in solo games. Also, he has ~100 MF, but I don't think that factors into key drops...

Basically this is a whine thread coupled with a quick question... What changes key drop rate, if anything?

Thank you very much, that's exactly what I was looking for.

If you're just doing quick keyruns in a passworded game...does it matter for drop odds if you make the game for one player or eight?...since you will be the only player in the game anyway...or are you just making the monsters harder to kill and not changing the drop odds at all?

if you are on bnet and you make a pswd game, there is only 1 player in the game and the first set of drop odds is what you want to look at.

Maximum allowable characters plays no effect on monsters.
