As you probably know there is a recent addition to the d2jsp forums where you can add YouTube videos directly into your forum posts!

1. How To Use It

It's quite simple to use, simply wrap the YouTube BBCode tags around your desired YouTube URL!

The YouTube BBCodes look like this:



Now, lets actually implement the YouTube BBCode to a valid YouTube.com URL. Here is an example.



When you're adding your YouTube URLS, make sure that they do not include any additional letters between the "http://" and "youtube.com...", expect "www.". Remember, you're only allowed one YouTube video per post and the videos cannot be included in your guild charter, private messages or profile.

Here are correct and incorrect examples of how to use the YouTube BBCode.

**Note: it has the letters "uk." between "http://" and "youtube.com...."



Also, make sure that you do not include the QUOTE BBCode in the same post as the YOUTUBE BBCode because it will not work!

2. Frequently Asked Questions

Question: I have 30% or higher warn, can I use the YouTube BBCode?

Answer: No, if you have greater than or equal to 30% warn, you're not permitted to use the YouTube BBCode function



Question: I don't have warn and it is still not working in my post, what is going on?

Answer: Make sure that your post does not include any QUOTE BBCode, also make sure that you're using a valid YouTube.com link and make sure that you're using the valid formatting (refer up where there is a correct example of how a youtube link should be formatted with the youtube bbcode).



Question: Why won't it work in PMs, my profile or guild charter?

Answer: Right now the YouTube BBCode will not function in your profile, private messages or your guild charter. Possibly an addition for the future



Question: I'm trying to post more than one per post, why won't it work?

Answer: You're only permitted to have one YouTube video posted in each post.



Question: It's not working in blogs!

Answer: It is disabled in User Blogs due to abuse. Blogs are not about posting your favorite videos, or any other similiar spam.



Question: Am I allowed to bump my thread by posting a YouTube video?

Answer: No, bumping threads with YouTube video's is considered spam.
