Guide to Buying and Selling Guilds

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to buy and sell a guild from another member.

Things to keep in mind:
-The cost to transfer guilds owners is 1,000 forum gold, payable to njaguar
-The cost to change a guild name is 500 forum gold, payable to njaguar.

1. The Seller makes a thread in General Chat saying that his/her guild is for sale.

2. The Buyer makes an offer on the guild. The Buyer also must state if the offer includes the price for the ownership transfer or not.

3. Once the deal is confirmed, the Buyer enters the guild. The switch cannot be done unless both people are in the guild.

4. njaguar is contacted with the following information:

-what the deal is
-links to the profiles of both people involved
-link to the guild's charter

Both users must PM njaguar confirming the transaction, although only one needs to give this information. You can work that out between yourselves.

5. Send the forum gold immediately after sending this PM. the 1,000 for the ownership transfer is necessary, as well as the 500 for the name change if applicable.

A mediator is required for all guild sales. Please ask someone with a Trusted or Mediator tag to mediate.

6. Be patient while you wait for the transfer. This is a manual switch that njaguar has to make, and may take up to a couple days. Just wait it out.
